His time at Bidwell Church in Manchester (North Side) and Manchester as a changing neighborhood. Community organization against urban redevelopment and involvement in the International Federation of Community Organizations. Other nonviolent protests across the North Side; fighting for fair housing and against gentrification. Demonstrating in Greenwood, Mississippi to support voter registration.
