Description
Primarily letters from Lord Northcliffe during WWI to Mary Roberts Rinehart, regarding an article of Rinehart's for the Post which was corrected by the Queen, as well as Rinehart's book "Kings, Prince and Pawns" and her other war books. Northcliffe complains about them being censored in England, and encloses letters of response from Belgium and France. He also discusses how she might meet with Queen Mary. There are also occasional letters back from Rinehart, including one in which she expresses her hopes and fears as the US enters the war, including her concerns about foreigners (especially German Americans). Finally, there is a newspaper article from 1930 about Lord Northcliffe.
