Description
Color photograph of the former home of Mary Lynch Quinn daughter of Commander Charles McKenna Lynch. It is a 1946 Sears, Roebuck house of historical significance. The house renamed Quinn Hall was the pioneer for the UPG academic villages. In 1998 it was renamed Terra House and on November 5, 1999 it was dedicated as UPG's Rossetti House for International Studies. The Quinn property was purchased by UPG in 1998 and was completely renovated into a residence hall for 14 students interested in international studies. The new residence hall was named for Dr. Guy Rossetti who served for 29 years as Professor of Hispanic Languages and Literature and later Vice President for Administrative Affairs. Dr. Rossetti died on November 5, 1998 at age 55.
