  • 1981 marked the centennial year for Chatham's College Choir. To celebrate the occasion, director Peggy Ross organized festivities including a large concert where choirs from Penn State, the Cincinnati Conservatory, and the University of Pittsburgh performed. Ms. Ross received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees from Carnegie Mellon University. She began teaching at Chatham as a Adjunct Professor and Lecturer in 1970 and continued to teach and direct the choir until 1984.
