Description
The five-story open rotunda, located in the Administration Building in the main H.J. Heinz Company plant in Pittsburgh’s North Side neighborhood, decorated for a dedication reception. The columns (pictured here) and the walls of the rotunda were of cream-colored marble. The rotunda also had a series of ten wall murals painted by Edward Trumbull. The murals depict scenes in countries that produced or distributed Heinz products.
