Description
The Westinghouse Research and Development Center occupies a 100-acre site ten miles east of Pittsburgh in the suburb of Churchill. The center houses the Westinghouse Research Laboratories, which employ approximately 1500 professional scientists, engineers, technicians, and support personnel. The company’s manufacturing planning and controls laboratories, as well as the patent department are also located at the Churchill facility.
