  • Mayor David L. Lawrence and friends promote the “Team-Up for Clean-Up” program, a partnership between the Pa. Pitt’s Partners and the Mayor’s Committee dedicated to beautifying Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods. In addition to encouraging locals to do their part to clean-up Allegheny County, the scrubbing of new buildings and stronger smoke abatement regulations were also implemented.
