Description
Pig iron and steel scraps from Mesta Machine Company's various development departments, including the Open-Hearth Steel Department and the Iron Foundry were stored in the metal store yard. The 85 foot by 1,200 foot storage area was serviced by four Gantry Electric Traveling Cranes, which carried materials to and from the store yard with electric magnets.
