Description
Cargo School, located at Boggs and Wyoming Avenues in the Mount Washington section of Pittsburgh, was erected in 1896. It was named in honor of R. M. Cargo, who for 43 years was supervising principal of the Mount Washington schools. The school was closed in 1943 and subsequently sold in 1944 for $9,000 to the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, which renamed it Saint Justin’s School.
