Description
Connelley Vocational High School offered a course in telephone work and “trouble-shooting.” The course covered installation and repair of telephones. When Connelley Vocational first opened in 1930 as a boy’s trade school, it was the largest vocational high school for boys in Pennsylvania, offering over 18 trades. It was named in honor of Clifford B. Connelley, former Secretary of Labor and Industry in Pennsylvania. Pictured is Daniel Penrod dialing a telephone.
