  • Neighborhood Youth Corps high school students helped supervise the movement of elementary and middle school students at key pedestrian points along heavily congested routes to and from Columbus Middle School and other feeder schools in Pittsburgh’s North Side neighborhood. Allegheny High School student Luther Burch (pictured here) stops students from jay-walking, while patrolman Floyd Bell directs traffic on this busy intersection near Columbus Middle School.
