Description
Wickersham School was named in honor of James P. Wickersham, who served as the Superintendent of Public Instruction from 1866 until 1881. The school, located at 3004 East Carson Street in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood, was erected in 1883. Wickersham School closed on July 1, 1949, and the property was subsequently sold for $66,353.
