Description
Northview Heights Elementary School opened on September 4, 1962. The school, today known as Northview Elementary Academy, is located at 310 Mount Pleasant Road and serves the Pittsburgh communities of Northview Heights, Spring Hill, and Perry Hilltop. With a current enrollment of approximately 436 pupils in 2003 and an average class size of 20 students, the school offers programs and services such as the Spanish International Studies Magnet, Related Arts (Art, Music, Physical Education, Technology), the Elementary Gifted Program, and the Waterford Early Literacy Program.
