Description
Oak School, located at Ballinger Street near Oak Road in the Overbrook neighborhood of Pittsburgh, was built in 1908 and closed in 1943, when it was sold for $2,610. The Borough of Overbrook, encompassing the villages of Overbrook, Oakleigh, Fair Haven, and Oak Station, was formed in 1919. The Borough voted to join the City of Pittsburgh in January 6, 1930.
