  • Description
  • Allen Kent came to the University of Pittsburgh in 1963. He directed the Knowledge Availability System Center and in 1968 formed the Interdisciplinary Department of Information Sciences. In 1982-1985 he was Associate Dean of the School of Information Sciences and was Interim Dean from 1985-1986. He retired in 1992.
