Description
Monument to Philip Linvingston. Text reads: Sacred. To the memory of the Hon. Philip Livingston who died June 12th 1778, aged 63 years, while atending the Congress of the United States at York Pa. as a Delegate from the State of New York. Eminenty distinguisd for his talents & rectitude, he deservedly enjoyed the confidence of his country, & the love & verneration of his friends & children. This monument is erected by his grandson. Stephen Van Rensslaer.
