  • Worker in the control room or "pulpit" of the 52" Universal Structural Mill. Construction of the 52" Mill commenced in 1923 although it did not go into operation until late in 1926. The 52" Mill was one of several Structural Mills constructed in the 1920s to replace outdated Mills at Homestead.
