Description
President William Howard Taft sits with Pittsburgh Mayor William A. Magee in the back seat of an automobile. The uniformed man checking the time was President Taft's aide, Archie Butt, who perished in the Titanic disaster in 1912. President Taft visited Pittsburgh on May 29, 1909, for two days. He attended a Pirate baseball game and participated in the dedication of Memorial Fountain in Arsenal Park.
