Description
Night view of the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation's Soho Works looking toward downtown Pittsburgh. The tall building under construction in the background is the Gulf Building. The building is forty-four stories (582 feet) in height and was the tallest building in Pittsburgh until 1970. The Gulf Building, built at a cost of $11 million, officially opened in 1932.
