Description
View of the exterior of the New Lincoln Pumping Station on Olivant Street. The pumping station was designed by the Water Bureau Engineer Erle Edgar Estep and began operation in 1953. According to his obituary in the September 8, 1954 edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, E.E. Estep also designed the Brilliant Pumping Station, Saline Pumping Station, Highland Pumping Station, and the Evergreen Sewage Pumping Station.
