Description
View of the Saint Benedict the Moor Roman Catholic church. Built in 1895 as the second church of the Holy Trinity parish, it merged with Saint Brigid parish in 1958 and was renamed Saint Brigid church. In 1968 the parish merged with the Saint Benedict the Moor parish to become Saint Brigid-Saint Benedict the Moor Church, and then in 1977 after merging with Saint Richard parish, the church was renamed to Saint Benedict the Moor Church. Looking north at the intersection of Centre Avenue with Crawford Street.
