Description
An image of the Thirtieth Street Bridge from Herrs Island, today known as Washington's Landing, showing the approach towards Pittsburgh. This bridge was constructed in 1887 and in operation until 1921 when a fire destroyed a large portion of it. This bridge spanned the entire width of the Allegheny River.
