Description
A view of the Shady Avenue entrance to the Marshall Mansion of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Established in 1945, the non-profit organization features contemporary art exhibitions and offers art classes to the community for all ages and experience levels. In 2006 the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts merged with Pittsburgh Filmmakers Media Arts Center. The Marshall Mansion is one of the two primary buildings on the PCA campus in Mellon Park, and houses the galleries on exhibit. The Scaife Building is used for arts education classes.
