  • Thrift Drug Bike Classic riders passing Rennekamp Lumber in Pittsburgh's West End. The Thrift Drug Bike Classic was a world-class event held in Pittsburgh between 1991 and 1997. Notable riders include Greg LeMond and Lance Armstrong, It also had the distinction of serving as a trial event for the 1996 U. S. Olympic cycling team.
