  • Weekly band concerts were presented by the Railroad Band in a handsome bandstand erected by the Pennsylvania Railroad at the eastern end of the Broadway Ball Field. The audience sat on wooden benches in front of the bandstand while the overflow crowd clustered around the ball field.
