  • Injured by exploding beans, this young lady looks quite unhappy with her predicament. Certainly, the injury will be an awkward one to explain when she gets home from vacation. Judging by the bandages, the hot beans hurt her left eye and both arms. In the late 19th and early 20th century Oakmont was a popular summer camping destination. Originally from the collection of Mrs. Chester P. Gallagher, Rosslyn Farms, Carnegie, PA.
