Description
Verona held these Pennsylvania Railroad shops. Some P.R.R. train cars are near the foreground of the photo. On the right is the wooden streetcar bridge that went between Oakmont and Verona, neighboring towns. In 1938, the bridge was replaced with a permanent road, made out of cement. Originally from the Oakmont Centennial Book Collection.
