Description
A train approaches from the South, heading into Oakmont. The writing on the bottom of the photograph identifies Oakmont Avenue, the original name of Allegheny River Boulevard, which runs parallel to the railroad tracks. This photo was taken prior to the construction of Allegheny Avenue. Originally from the Oakmont Centennial Book Collection.
