  • Boone's house, a lovely home on Oakmont Avenue, now Allegheny River Boulevard, is front and center here. This photo, taken from above, shows the railroad tracks behind the house, as well as an amazing view of the flood waters that surround it. The water has risen so high that it is starting to threaten electric wires carrying power to homes. Over 130 buildings were damaged in Oakmont alone.
