Description
At the height of the Saint Patrick's Day flood in 1936, only the very tops of these buildings remained above water. If the flood was not bad enough, there is snow everywhere as well. Unsurprisingly, this caused extensive damage to over 130 buildings in structures in the Oakmont area alone; among the most damaged was the Morris Camps section above the Hulton Bridge. Originally from the Oakmont Centennial Book Collection.
