  • Here a young woman sells Town Talk Bread and flour in an indoor market booth. Events like this were often sponsored by the Pittsburgh Courier. Town Talk Bread was prosperous during the 1950's, and was a well known sponsor for entertainment events like Kukla, Fran and Olie, a puppeteer act.
