Abstract: The mission of the Woman's Temperance Union of Wilkinsburg was to: educate public sentiment up to the standard of total abstinence, train the young, save the inebriate, secure the enforcement of the Eighteenth Amendment to the Federal Constitution and complete banishment of liquor traffic. This collection contains a constitution and by-laws, a directory, reports, minute books, a membership roll book (1911), programs, memorabilia, and published histories regarding organizational operations and activities of the Woman's Temperance Union from 1885-1955.
