Description
When the Allegheny River flooded its banks, the H.J. Heinz Company main plant was once again affected by the floodwaters. Though far from the damage caused by the devastating flood of 1936, the problems caused by flooding disrupted production at the plant and required days of cleanup after the waters receded.
