Description
Frederick Theodore Wagner, son of August and Elizabeth, was a Pittsburgh photographer who often photographed his relatives, children, friends, and scenes of Pittsburgh. Frederick Theodore Wagner, whose parents emigrated from Germany, worked for the railroads. The 1904 Pittsburgh and Allegheny Directory lists a Frederick T. Wagner, clerk, Union Station, residing at 539 Watt Street in Pittsburgh’s 13th Ward. He died in Wayne, Pennsylvania, on October 22, 1956. The row of buildings in the photograph were located on East Ohio Street (foreground) in the North Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
