Description
The Pittsburgh National Alliance of Businessmen administered the JOBS (Job Opportunities in the Business Sector) program in the late 1960s, which trained 190 chronically unemployed persons for jobs that included ward clerks, nurses aides, and building tradesmen. Participants here work in an auto body shop where they learn skills to prepare them for future job opportunities.
