Description
Mesta Machine Company produced various types of lathes, each designed for a specific tasks. The Roll Lathes were composed of eight principal parts including, a bedplate made of melted cast iron, housings, a cast iron or steel piano rest, necking rests, a tailstock, a faceplate and spindle, a headstock, and reduction gears. Based on drawings submitted by customers, Mesta engineers made recommendations for the appropriate lathes with due consideration to initial coat and economical service.
