Description
Glenwood School and its annex were located at Second Avenue and Alluvian Street. The school, originally built in 1888 with alterations in 1896, was originally located in the Peebles Township School District near the Hazelwood section of Pittsburgh. Glenwood was demolished in 1942 and the property was sold in 1947 for $2,550. The annex property was sold twice, the first sale was in 1939 for $630, and the second in 1950 for $750.
