Description
Crescent Elementary School, located at 8080 Bennett Street in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, was designed by architect M.M. Stein in 1939. The original Crescent School building was located at 8344 Frankstown Road. It was built in 1900, remolded in 1905, and replaced by the current school in 1939. The site of the first Crescent School was sold in 1940 for $7,500.
