Description
In 1923 the privately owned Allegheny Rehabilitation Trade School was purchased by the Pittsburgh Board of Education and re-opened as the Allegheny Trade School. In the early 1960s the school enrolled about 289 students in automotive, carpentry, electric wiring, machine shop, and radio and television classes.
