Boy lifts his leg as if he were kicking something, as a girl holding a book crosses the street in a Pittsburgh neighborhood near Duquesne University. The large structure on the hill in the background is the Clifford B. Connelley Vocational High School. The school opened in 1930 and was considered one of the largest and most modern trade schools in the United States at the time.
