  • The Department of Public Health's emergency station at Reedsdale Street and Ridge Avenue. The emergency station was created in response to the Equitable Gas tank explosion that occurred on the North Shore on November 15, 1927. The explosion damaged and destroyed homes and businesses within a 20-mile radius.
