Description
A view of the progress of revetment from the north cofferdam, looking northeast. A revetment is a facing of stone, cement, sandbags, etc., as to protect a wall or a bank of earth. A cofferdam is a temporary structure created to expose areas that are normally underwater so that work, such as creating supports or repairs can be completed.
