Description
Chick C. discusses the process of growing cotton that his family used on their farm, and working on the farm as a child. Working in a sawmill between the ages of 16-18. Moving to Detroit in 1923 to live with his aunt and uncle there, and getting a job with his uncle as a building contractor. Additionally working in River Rouge Ford plant. Moving to Homestead and finding a job in the mill. Differences between Detroit and Homestead.
