Description
The residence of Henry Clay Frick, named the "Clayton", located on the corner of Penn and Homewood Avenues in the Point Breeze neighborhood in Pittsburgh's residential East End. In 1882 Frick purchased a Mid-Victorian house and hired Osterling for general remodeling. Osterling remodeled mainly the Penn and Homewood sides of the residence giving them a chateau-like appearance. The Clayton remains today as a museum as part of the Frick Pittsburgh grounds.
