She talks about farm; church; mining town; her mother as country “doctor.” She talks about her parents’ heritage. She speaks of her mother: 1909 nursing degree from Mercy Hospital; work in cigar factory on Pittsburgh’s North Side; nurse at St. Paul’s Orphanage; attending St. Philomena.
