View of excavation in order to access the sewer line below River Avenue, looking northeast below the Fort Wayne Railroad Bridge (1904) near the intersection with Hope Street. In view in the distance is the arch of the 16th Street Bridge (1923). The official name of the bridge since 2013 is the David McCullough Bridge, honoring the Pittsburgh-native historian.
