  • View of the intersection of Manton and Allen Street, looking south along Allen Street. In view further south is St. George Roman Catholic Church. The parish was founded in 1886, and the church in view was dedicated in 1912. It merged with three other parishes in 1994 to form St. John Vianney parish at the same location in view. According to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh's website, the new parish was dissolved in 2016 due to repair costs and declining membership at the church.
