Description
View of the north entrance to the Smithfield Bridge, looking southwest from Fort Pitt Boulevard. Originally built in 1883, the Smithfield Bridge has been repaired and renovated multiple times since its construction, most recently in 1994. Also in view is the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Station (PL&E), built in 1898, it is now occupied as the Grand Concourse Restaurant.
