Description
Looking southwest at the intersection of Ross Street and Second Avenue. In view is the former Pittsburgh Public Safety Building and the Smithfield Bridge (1883). According to an October 20, 2004 article of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the building was purchased from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in 1960 and converted into the Public Safety Building. It was demolished in October 2004 for the extension of PNC's Firstside Center Campus.
