  • The caption states: "The interpretation of torsion balance data from Venezuela is mainly carried out in this room. A large volume of torsion balance measurements has been made in the States of Anzoategui and Monagas, shown on the large map in the picture. In this area a great deal of seismograph work also has been done and a very complete picture of the geological situation in the Eastern Venezuela basin being worked out from the torsion balance and seismograph data."
